  • Kate Dalley
    Certificate 1V Veterinary Nurse

Kate joined the Park Ridge Animal Hospital team in March 2017 and brings with her over 10 years of industry experience, having spent a large part of those years in a large emergency and critical care veterinary hospital.

After once dreaming of becoming a Park Ranger to save the native world, Kate completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Protected Area Management only to realize that her desire to stay close to home and work more closely with companion animals was where her true passions lay.

Starting in a small inner city practice in 2004. it wasn't very long before Kate began working her weekends away in emergency, in addition to her general practice duties. After years of juggling both nursing jobs and wranging a toddler too, she made the decision in 2009 with the arrival of her second child, to leave general practice and commence the night life of emergency full time.

After a short break from the industry, Kate is excited to have found a busy, eventful hospital to satisfy her exceitement for fast paced nursing as well as the opportunity to be a part of building long lasting relationships with the clients and patients here at PRAH.

On the home front Kate is happily married to Steve and is a Mum to human children Charlie and Lucy and to furbaby Penelope Peanut, a stunningly gorgeous Chocolate Burmese cat, who only drinks from a running tap and has turned her back on the litter tray, using the toilet for all of her business!!. Kate only wishes that she also taught her to flush!!.

  • Katrina (Kat) Promnitz

Katrina spent 6 years there gaining knowledge and skills as well as completing her Certificate 11 in Animal Studies and Certificate 1V Veterinary Nursing. Katrina then decided to make the move to sunny Qld to further her nursing career in PRAH's busy environment.

Kat thoroughly enjoys all aspects of her job in veterinary care. She is particularly interested in surgery and critical care patients that need emergency treatment and the satisfaction and joy that comes form bringing a seriously ill patient back to good health.

Kat doesn't have any fur-babies of her own (YET!) she gives all of that love to her patients instead.
